Hello, I’m Julia from Julia’s Kombucha. JK started in my small kitchen, and is now selling out every week in Edinburgh.Thanks Edinburgh, I hope your gut health is good x

What is Julias Kombucha?

Julia’s Kombucha is hand-made, small-batch, kombucha made locally in Edinburgh. It is designed to support gut health and overall wellbeing. Offering a lower-sugar, fermented alternative to highly processed soft drinks, using seasonal flavours and traditional fermentation methods.

I was inspired by my personal interest in gut health and kombucha, alongside identifying a gap in the local market for genuinely health-focused, sustainably produced drinks. As a regular kombucha consumer, I wanted to create a product I would personally choose while contributing to a stronger local food economy.

Julia’s Kombucha is built on community engagement, local partnerships, and circular economy principles. Glass bottles are collected, cleaned, and reused, and I personally deliver the goods weekly to local cafés and shops. (my favourite part!)
